Model 102 Supermatic Citation manufactured by High Standard. Left side of barrel is stamped ".22 LONG RIFLE" followed by the High Standard eagle logo. Left side of the slide is stamped "HI-STANDARD", with the right side of slide bearing the serial number followed by "MODEL 102". Left side of frame is stamped "SUPERMATIC / CITATION". Features include a blued finish, 9" barrel fitted with 2 weights, blade front sight, square notch target adjustable rear sights, as well as 2-piece Hi-Standard gold medallion checkered wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame and slide. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some scattered handling marks and a few nicks showing through to silvering overall. Frame beneath the grip panels shows areas of silvering. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show few minor handling marks and exhibit light smoothing to the checkering overall. A very nice example of a High Standard Model 102 Supermatic Citation pistol. MLW
