A vintage, scarce Great Northern fancy back with no maker’s hallmark evident. Lock has some edge nicks and minor denting from long RR use. Great old patina. Lock is missing the chain. Dust cover rotates freely, but is not sprung. Lock has not been tested and there is no accompanying key. Back face is beautifully embossed in fancy font “GN RY.”. A classic fancy back.
