Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 action built by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1955 and customized by an unknown professional gunsmith for William K Dupont at an unknown date. 22" blued glass bedded tapered sporter weight, sightless, unmarked except for caliber "220 S" barrel. Blued Pre-64 action with 3-position safety, hollow bolt handle, Winchester blued hinged floorplate, and claw extractor. Highly figured walnut skip-line checkered Monte Carlo pistol grip stock with contrasting forend and oversized grip. Stock has Bishop hard rubber recoil pad and quick detachable sling swivels with action fitted with Redfield 1-piece with Leupold M-8 6X scope with standard crosshair (needing work). CONDITION: 90% barrel blue with wear from hunting and usage with action having 90% blue with silver patina bolt handle showing some light surface corrosion. Floorplate has carry wear and some light surface corrosion. 90% varnish with excessive dings and hunting scratches. Perfect bore and mechanics with clear optics but scope has some crosshair trouble.
