PPK manufactured by Walther in 1932 for commercial sales. Left side of slide bears the Walther banner logo followed by usual manufacturer stampings. Right side of slide, chamber, and barrel bear crown/N commercial nitro proofs. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece Walther banner brown plastic wrap around grip. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning all around that show through to brown patina, as well as some small spots of cleaned oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Grip shows some warping at the top, with some scattered cracks overall. A nice pre-war manufactured Walther PPK pistol. MLW
