Bolt action rifle made by "G.L. RASCH" in caliber 9.3X57mm Mauser. Rifle has set triggers. Blued matted barrel is marked with "StmG" and "113". Receiver has the serial number "17314113", and markings/ maker which is partially obscured by the the frontal claw mount base. The military bolt has "BU" proofs. Barrel and receiver have has two sight bases for a double-claw scope mount, and a leaf rear sight. Single blade front sight is mounted on front hand which is grooved for a sight hood. Receiver, floor plate, and trigger guard have very light engraving, while the butt plate is fully engraved. Floorplate has lever for removal. Sling swivel bases are attached to stock, and barrel has sling swivel. Fine quality walnut stock has checkered grip. A Leupold "VARI-X III 1.5x5" is mounted on the rifle. CONDITION: Overall is very good. Barrel retains 70-75% of its blued finish, while all the other metal components retain none, with light freckling. Wood stock light wear, with a one inch piece of stock missing behind the bold handle recess. Optics are clear. Bore is bright, set triggers function properly, and rifle is mechanically sound. WEZ
