Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Late first generation gun, made 1933. Single line company address on the top of the barrel. "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" marked on the left side of the barrel. 2-line patent address on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and frame V-notch rear. Factory blued barrel, trigger guard, grip straps, and cylinder. Case colored hammer, trigger, and frame. Original checkered plastic grips, hand-numbered on the inside to the gun. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finishes with general wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent with light wear. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing. Cylinder has a light drag line. JWA
