Thompson Center Contender "Super 14" single shot rifle with scope and case. Made 1994. Left side of the barrel is marked "THOMPSON CENTER ARMS 30-30 Win/ ROCHESTER, N.H. SUPER 14". Standard engraved mountain lion on both sides of the frame. Barrel is ported and has no iron sights. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood pistol grip and forearm. Factory sling studs on the forearm and on the bottom of the butt. Includes attached Thompson Center 2.5x20 extended eye relief scope. Scope sits on a factory single piece mount. Also included is a sling (looks to be factory) and a factory soft case. CONDITION: Metal retains 97% of its original finish with light wear. Wood has a few handling marks. Plastic cap on the bottom of the pistol grip is cracked. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer. Mechanically fine. Scope is excellent with a clear optic. Case and sling are excellent as well. JWA
