Savage Model 99 K Grade lever action rifle made by Savage Arms Company in 1928. Blued Hi-Pressure Steel round barrel with integral ramp and dovetail blade front sight and rear 2-blade fold-down rear sight. Barrel is marked with Savage address and "SAVAGE" with caliber marking of "30-30" at breech with line engraving on top at breech. aBlued action with floral pattern K Grade style engraving and takedown receiver and brass counter with case hardened lever and lever safety with Lyman Tang peep sight. Figured walnut pistol grip stock with checkered capped grip and side panels and what looks to be factory "Jostam" recoil pad. Walnut figured takedown style checkered splinter forearm with Schnabel tip and gun having factory-style hook and eye sling swivels. CONDITION: 95% barrel blue with 95% action blue and some light handling marks. 95% original varnish with some light usage marks. Pad is lightly deformed from storage. Excellent bore and mechanics.
