Circa 1958. A vintage 12 gauge trap shotgun with 32" blued steel barrel. Barrel fit with 2 - 3/4" chamber, ejector, wide filed ventilated rib with mid bead and orange hi visibility front sight. Barrel is choked with Full choke. The case colored boxlock action is built with a single trigger and checkered top lever. The action and other metal parts are adorned with scroll engraving and bottom action is also engraved with an eagle grasping 2 arrows with his talons. Side of actions also with a gold inlay of a pheasant on right and a gold inlay of woodcock on right, both in vignettes. Bottom action reads "MADE IN USA", "ITHACA GUN CO", "ITHACA NY" all in banners. The feather crotched double panel golden blonde walnut stock with Fleur-de-lis checkered pistol grip with black grip cap and vacant gold oval is finished by a black Decelerator rubber pad. The matched beavertail forend with semi sharp checkering is built with a Deeley styled latch release. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel remains with mostly all of its original color and bore is good. Action is sound. Trigger and ejector are good. Stock and forend both very good with some light handling marks. Nice piece. CP
