Official Police double action revolver chambered in .38 Special manufactured by Colt in 1966. Left side of barrel is stamped "OFFICIAL POLICE / .38 SPECIAL CTG.", with Colt's single line address across the right. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a blue finish, 6" barrel, serrated blade front sight, frame notched rear sight, as well as 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered walnut grips. Interior of grip panels are hand scribed and do not match. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some scattered handling marks, as well as some light wear around the muzzle. Cylinder bears a light dragline. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few minor handling marks and are otherwise fine. MLW
