Circa 1980. A very nice 20 bore side by side shotgun with 28" chopper lump nitro proofed blacked steel barrels. Barrels are fit with 3" chambers, ejectors and a smooth concave tapered rib. Rib with brass round front bead sight. Rib reads "AGUIRRE Y ARANZABAL. MADE IN SPAIN". Rib with light floral scroll near breech. Barrels are fit to receive side clips. Barrel flats with appropriate proof markings and marked "20-76.2", MAGNUM "550442"(for serial number), "1200gmos", "1300Kp/cm", "Z'1" and with "AYA" logo. Chokes are Modified and Improved Cylinder. The case colored hand detachable sidelock action is furnished with side clips, hidden 3rd fastener, hand detachment lever, gold line cocking indicators, engraved top top lever with checkered thumb piece, engraved checkered slide safe disk set strikers and double triggers with front trigger being hinged. Gun is non-auto safe. "S" in gold between safe slide and top lever. Action engraving is of floral scrolls and action bottom reads "AGUIRRE Y ARANZABAL" in banner. Double triggers are protected by a right hand rolled edged case color scroll engraved trigger guards which extends to a full bottom strap. Bottom strap is engraved with scrolls and serial number "550442". The guns deep honey brown European walnut stock with English straight hand grip and handsome straight line and tiger stripes is accompanied by drop points, over the wrist diamond point checkering and finished with a 1/2" black rubber "Decelerator" pad. The matched checkered splinter forend with Anson styled checkered push button release, center pin and iron metal are engraved with various scroll patterns. CONDITION: Very fine. Barrels retain 97% original blue with some light handling marks and forearm rub. Bores are bright. Action, triggers and ejectors operate well. Stock and forend are good with only light handling marks. Nice Game Gun. CP
