Circa 1960. A single barreled .410 bore slide action pump gun with 28" blued steel barrel. Barrel with raised ventilated rib. Rib with white round mid bead and white front bead sight. Barrel is choked (Winchester) skeet. Barrel reads "MADE IN NEW HAVEN , CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA, WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL - WINCHESTER - TRADE MARK MODEL 42-410-2 1/2 IN. CHAM. SKEET". Bottom of action reads with serial number "140678". Rear receiver extension band on bottom also reads with serial number "140678". Rib reads "SIMMONS SPECIALTIES PAT PEND L" on left. Action with blacked single trigger and push button cross bolt safe at trigger. Handsome feather crotch and marbled stock with sharp checkered pistol hand grip and steel decorated black grip cap. Buttstock finished with Whiteline black rubber Pachmayer pad. Matching slide forend wood also with sharp checkering. CONDITION: Excellent as refinished. Barrel is near new. Action is smooth and shiny. Stock and forend are near perfect as redone. Very nice gun. CP
