Manufactured 1874 to 1886. This particular example was made in 1878, stamped on right barrel. Features 6 shot, fluted cylinder, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, lanyard ring, and straw colors on hammer, extractor, cylinder pin, loading gate and trigger. CONDITION: Retains 98% of the arsenal blue finish with beautiful straw colors. Fine bore and action. While the Model 1873 Navy is extremely common, the Model 1874 is rarely seen, especially in this condition.
