Springfield Model 1903 NRA Style Sporter bolt action rifle. Made 1933. Springfield barrel dated "12-32" below a flaming bomb. Standard markings on the receiver. "N.S." marked on the top of the bolt handle. Muzzle has no star gauge stamp, and the bolt is not serialized to the gun. No markings on the stock. Thick blade front sight with a Lyman adjustable rear peep. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Smooth oil finished wood "C" pistol grip stock. Checkered metal cupped butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear. Stock has a few handling marks, but is excellent overall. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
