First Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver. Frame made 1893. This gun has a later production barrel and cylinder, with standard markings. Standard patent dates on the frame. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard and butt. Round steel barrel with a blade front sight and v-notch rear. Barrel, cylinder, and grip straps are blued. Frame and hammer are case colored. Imitation stag grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its blued finishes, with little case coloring on the frame visible. Grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine.
