Detective Special double action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1969. Left side of barrel is stamped "DETECTIVE SPEC./ .38 SPECIAL CTG.", with Colt's 2-line address across the right. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a blue finish, 2" barrel, ramp front sight, frame notched rear sight, factory installed hammer shroud, T-grip, as well as 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting a few light scattered handling marks overall. Cylinder bears a light dragline. Hammer shroud exhibits some edge wear showing through to brass. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show a few minor nicks to the diamonds, but are otherwise fine. MLW
