Detonics Combat Master, one of the early conceal carry semi-automatic pistols when getting a factory example was near impossible and the alternative was to pay top smiths to chop down and tune a full sized gun. "PAT. PEND." mark on left side of slide indicates pre-1982 manufacture. Scalloped cut at rear of slide for weight reduction, with rear sight moved up. Blade front sight. Rear cocking serrations, left side of slide marked "DETONICS .45" and "PAT. PEND." Contoured hammer and grip safety for concealability. Left side only safety, magazine release, slide release, and trigger; all small parts serrated. Mainspring housing with checkered back and no lanyard loop. Fully checkered walnut grips. Accompanied by a leather OWB holster with reinforced mouth and 3 extra magazines, one Detonics marked, one with pachmayr bumper pad, and a Mecgar magzine for a full sized 9mm. CONDITION: Good, retaining the majority of the black powder coat finish, with high edge silvering and silvering towards muzzle consistent with holster use. Slide has some normal handling marks, with somewhat heavier silvering on the right side. Frame is very good with some normal marks and heavier silvering to high traffic areas such as dust cover and grip safety. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with strong rifling and some minor oxidation. Magazines are good, with extra Detonics magazine having a slight coating of patina, and MecGar magazine with some spotted oxidation. Pachmayr magazine with some silvering from use. Holster is very good with some crazing of the leather and stiffening indicative of belt use. EMW
