Colt Single Action Army revolver with box. Generation three gun made 1988. Standard markings on the barrel. Patent dates on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory nickel finish on the metal components. Extra wide stag style grips (likely factory, according to box reference). Includes serial matching red cardboard box and manual, "Stag" is handwritten on label. CONDITION: Metal retains 97% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Grips are excelelnt. Bore is shiny and crisp. Gun looks to be un-fired from the factory. Tight hammer and cylinder. No drag line present. Mechanically fine. Box has edge wear, and the one tab is starting to rip. JWA
