1907 vintage Winchester Model 1892 Trapper saddle ring carbine, serial number 397579. 16" round barrel chambered in .44 WCF (.44-40 WCF) with Winchester Express rear sight, 2-line barrel address located in front of rear barrel band, and German silver blade front. Winchester barrel proof correctly positioned in front of rear sight. 2-piece plain walnut stock and forearm with carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, with a vast majority of the reapplied bluing remaining with scattered handling marks throughout. Stock and forearm are excellent as lightly sanded with no major signs of distress. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling and modest abrasion. TON
