Early FN Mauser action style Medallion Grade bolt action magazine rifle made FN in Herstal, Belgium for Browning Arms Company circa 1959. Blued tapered round sightless barrel marked with Liege proofs and Browning address with floral pattern engraving at breech. Satin finish Mauser style action with gold plated trigger with action and bridges engraved with floral pattern then bugling Elk on left bridge and running Antelope on right with "R. Risack" signature in corner. Gun has Satin finished fully engraved trigger guard with prowling Bear on trigger bow and Whitetail Buck in Flora on floorplate with signature "J. BAERTEN" on the floorplate. Fine border carved checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece, Browning logo hard rubber buttplate, rosewood oversized grip cap with gold diamond inlay, and Rosewood forend cap. Beautifully made rifle with condition. CONDITION: 95% barrel blue with light case wear. 95% remaining satin finish with sharp engraving. 95% original high luster finish with small gouge above floorplate on right-hand side. Excellent bore and mechanics. A great rifle. DLM
