Winchester Model 63 semi automatic rifle. Made 1950. Standard company address, trademark, and model name on the left side of the barrel. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Matching serials on the frame and trigger group. Round steel barrel with blade front and u-notch rear tangent. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Grip has an added wooden cap. Flat checkered metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Wood has finish wear (mostly on the forearm), in addition to a few dings and scratches. There is an 1 - 1/4" crack on the right side of the forearm. Forearm has no visible cracks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
