This is a beautifully represented nine tube triple-chime grandfather clock. The brass works with moon phase and is housed in a mahogany wood clock case with an open arch, reed columns, stunning carved pinecone and rosette décor accents, carved claw feet and a beveled glass door complementing its design. One of the most distinctive features is the seascape eight day moon phase dial. The brass finished, circular polished hour track has raised Arabic numerals. It is further enhanced by the milled and nicely etched brass center disc and corner ornaments. Engraved on the disk: "Silent Chime; Silent Hour Str; and Westm. - Trin. - N Dame". This grandfather clock stands approximately 8' tall to the highest point. The clock case is in very good condition, with minor age related wear due to previous use, some scratches and chipping to the wood and a loose door nub on the top portion of the clock, otherwise in good condition.
