Lot consists of: (A) .22 Caliber Quackenbush Safety Cartridge Rifle made from 1886 to 1922. 18" round barrel with globe front sight and adjustable square notch rear. Nickel finished takedown receiver. One piece plain walnut stock with nickel plated butt plate. CONDITION: Good as restored. Barrel and frame cleaned to bright with pitting visible. Nearly all of the reapplied bright nickel retained on butt plate, bottom of receiver, and muzzle. Breech block exhibits a mottled brown gray patina with some cleaned oxidation. Stock has some minor marks and a 3" split at the wrist. Dark shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) Hamilton No. 15 .22 RF caliber single shot boys rifle made circa 1901 to 1910. Round brass lined 8" barrel, fixed blade front sight, adjustable peep rear sight, overall stamped construction with blued finish, and plain walnut stock with added sheet brass butt plate. CONDITION: Fair Traces of blued finish are retained with mottled brown patina throughout and evidence of cleaned oxidation. Portions of plating retained on loading lever with exposed brass exhibiting mustard patina. Stock cleaned, showing only minor marks. Dark worn bore and good mechanics. BAS
