Browning SA-22 semi automatic rifle. Grade I rifle made in the 1950s in Belgium with Belgian proofs on the barrel, frame, and bolt. Standard markings on the barrel. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and wheel adjustable rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Frame has its standard light scroll engraving. Oil finished wood stock and forearm, with checkering on both. Wood was lightly sanded at some point. Serrated metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Wood has handling marks and scratches. There is a repaired crack on the left side of the wrist. Bore is clean with good rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
