Browning SA-22 semi automatic rifle. Grade I gun, made 1958 in Belgium. Typical Belgian proofs on the barrel, frame and bolt. Barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo./MADE IN BELGIUM". Matching serials on the frame, trigger group and butt plate. Typical scroll engraving scenes on both side of the frame. Frame is grooved as well. Round steel barrel with factory blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Varnished wood stock with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Serrated metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its finish with some light handling marks. Wood has a few handling marks as well. Bore is clean with fine rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
