Remington Model 8 semi automatic rifle. Made 1923 as a standard grade rifle. This particular gun does have the optional factory checkering on the stock/forearm. Standard 2 line company address and patent dates on the barrel sleeve in front of the rear sight. Factory blade front sight and buckhorn u-notch rear. Blued finish looks to be factory. Stock and forearm were lightly refinished, but the factory checkering was well preserved. Original serrated metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its finish with light wear and handling marks. Stock has a few handling marks. Bore has some light frosting, but rifling is crisp. Mechanically fine. JWA
