Lot consists of (A) Remington Model 95 double derringer. Type III gun made circa 1910s. Remington-UMC single line address on the barrel rib. Blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory nickel finish on the frame and barrels, with the hammer, screws, trigger and lever being blued. Checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear. The unloading lever is slightly bent, but is still functioning. Slight crack in the barrel hinge. Hard rubber grips are excellent. Bores are lightly pitted and have light frosting. Hammer is tight. Mechanically fine. (B) Remington Model 95 double derringer. Late type III gun made circa 1920s. Remington-UMC single line address on the barrel rib. Blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory dull blue finish on the metal components. Grooved hammer. Checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Barrel hinge is solid. Grips are excellent with light wear. Bores are clean overall, with a touch of light frosting. Hammer is tight. Mechanically fine. JWA
