Lot consists of: (A) Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless double action revolver. 4th model gun, made circa 1900. Two line company address on the barrel rib. Company trademark on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the butt, cylinder, barrel and safety latch. Round, steel barrel with a pinned half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Factory nickel finish on the metal components, with the trigger guard being blued and the trigger case colored. Original brown checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light handling marks and scratches. Grips have a few handling marks as well. Bore has a few minor pits and frosting. Very good rifling retained. Cylinder is tight. Good timing and lockup. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless double action revolver. 1st model gun, made circa 1890's.
