Smith & Wesson Model 53 double action revolver with box. Made 1966. Standard markings on both sides of the barrel. Company trademark and address on the right side of the frame. Six shot fluted cylinder. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger and spurred trigger. Checkered wood grips with gold "S&W" medallions. Includes the original serial matching box and 6 inserts. CONDITON: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear. Grips have light wear. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lock up. Very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent with light edge wear. Inserts are excellent. JWA
