Lot consist of: (A) Winchester Model 12 slide action shotgun. Made 1921. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel. Two line patent address on the right side of the barrel. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Matching serials on the barrel assembly and receiver. Round steel barrel with full rib and bead sight. Original blued finish on the metal components. Wood has a light oil finish, with the butt stock having been refinished. Original checkered plastic butt plate. 2 - 3/4" chamber, full choke bore. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with general wear and some gray patina. Some light surface rust on the left side of the frame. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean. Mechanically fine. (B) Remington Model 870 slide action shotgun. Made 1956. Standard markings on the barrel and frame. Round, steel barrel with bead front sight. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original oil finished wood stock and ribbed forearm. Factory serrated plastic butt plate. 2 - 3/4" chamber, modified choke bore. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood has scuffs and scratches. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine. JWA
