Colt Officer's Model Match double action revolver. Made 1956. Single line company address on the right side of the barrel, with standard model nomenclature on the left side. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame, in addition to "VP" proof on the top of the trigger guard. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Serrated trigger and checkered spurred hammer. Original checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Front sight is painted white. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lock up. Light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
