Indian Enfield No.1 MK III bolt action rifle with grenade cup. Made "1949?" as marked on the right side of the stock socket. Indian proof on the chamber and bolt. Rifle is wire wrapped with copper wire for added support when launching rifle grenades. Rack number "32" on the left side of the stock. Small import mark on the left side of the receiver. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, rear sight and muzzle cap. Magazine is numbered and not matching. Standard blade front sight and rear sight adjustable to 2,000 meters. Metal components have a light arsenal applied blued finish. Stock has a light oil finish. Brass butt plate with trapdoor. Includes original metal grenade cup. Cup is marked "31 S1R" in the bottom of the lug. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its arsenal applied blued finish. Stock has handling marks, dents and scratches. Arsenal repair on the top of the butt. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Cup has normal finish wear. JWA
