Lot consists of: A) Remington Model 1889 hammer shotgun made by Remington Arms Company made in 1889. Cut 18 -1/2" damascus barrels with Remington Address. Remington marked locks, double triggers and correct hammers. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with Remington buttplate and matching walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: A) Overall poor with period wire wrist repair, poor bores with crisp mechanics. B) Remington Whitmore Model 1874 hammer shotgun made by Remington Arms Company circa 1880's. Cut 18 -1/2" damascus barrels with Remington Address. Remington locks with double triggers, Monkey Tail opener and correct hammers. Walnut checkered English grip stock with smooth steel buttplate. Matching pinned checkered splinter forearm. CONDITION: B) Overall poor with heavy use . Poor bores with crisp mechanics. Two guns that look like the fell right off the stagecoach. DLM
