Colt Single Action Army NRA Centennial revolver with display case. Made 1971 to commemorate the NRA. Left side of the barrel is marked "1871 NRA Centennial 1971", while the right is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The top of the barrel is marked with the company address. Patent dates on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Round steel barrel with large blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the barrel, cylinder, trigger guard and grip straps. Frame is case colored. Oil finish wood grip with NRA medallions on each side. Includes yellow velvet lined wood display case with medallion on the lid. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. grips have a few handling marks as well. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Cylinder spun very little if at all. Wood display case is excellent. JWA
