Circa 1936. A 12 gauge game gun with chopperlump 27 - 3/4" blued steel barrels with 2 - 1/2" chambers and ejectors. Barrels are fit for sideclips, with sling swivel and tapered, concave filed rib with brass round bead. Barrels read "AUG FRANCOTTE & CIE LIEGE", "FAIT POURRUBRICIUS - PLZEN-NAMESTI". Chokes are Full and Modified. The brushed coin finished side plated boxlock action with hidden third fastener and sideclips is furnished with double triggers, blacked checkerd top lever and safe slide. Gun is auto-safe. Sideplates are engraved with games scenes of hunting dogs in fields and with border scrolls. Action bottom with engraved with hunting dogs head and scrolls. Walnut stock with 2 panel nicely checkered English straight hand grip and, sling swivel and brown rubber butt pad. Length of pull is 14 - 1/4". Checkered splinter forend with Anson styled release and scroll engraved iron metal. CONDITION: Very Good. Barrels retain mostly all of their original blue. Action is sound. Triggers and ejectors work well. Stock and forend with light handling marks. Nice Gun. CP
