3rd Model rifle manufactured circa 1890. 24" round barrel chambered in .44-40 with 2-line Winchester address and full length magazine tube. Sporting sights. Plain walnut forend and stock with trap rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Traces of factory blue retained with balance turned to a brown patina with silvering at high edges and some scattered marks. Stocks are slightly undersized and have a smooth sanded appearance with a few minor impressions. Dark shootable bore with strong rifling. Action cycles appropriately. BAS
