Colt Peacemaker single action revolver with box. Made 1971. Single line company address on the top of the barrel, with standard markings on the left side. Patent dates on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the barrel, cylinders, and grip straps. Case colored frame. Checkered plastic grips with embellished eagle and Colt pony. Includes an unnumbered wood grain Styrofoam box and manual. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light handling marks. There is some light oxidation on the loading gate. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent. JWA
