Unknown Kentucky style halfstock percussion muzzleloading rifle of unknown origin circa 1850. 32" octagon .45 caliber rifled barrel with Lyman globe front sight and Winchester rear adjustable sight with barrel marked under rear sight "RDC". Back action floral engraved percussion lock with double set triggers. Walnut stock with pewter nosecap, cheekpiece, brass furniture including an engraved heart inlay with engraving on toeplate, triggerguard and escutcheons. CONDITION: Overall good with light usage and handling marks. Some chips and slivers are missing around the lock. Dark bore with crisp mechanics. DLM
