Python double action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1964. Left side of barrel is stamped "PYTHON .357/ * .357 MAGNUM CTG. *", with the right side bearing Colt's 1-line address. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt stamp and "VP" proof. Features include a blue finish, 4" barrel with ventilated rib, serrated trigger & backstrap, checkered hammer, and 2-piece Colt gold medallion checkered walnut grips. Revolver is accompanied by safety pamphlets as well as the factory instruction manual. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting a couple of small spots of wear towards the muzzle and a couple minor superficial handling marks overall. Cylinder bears a light dragline and some in the cylinder notch channels. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some very light wear to the checkering as well as some loss to the varnish on one grip panel and a few scattered handling marks overall. An attractive example of the iconic Python .357 Magnum double action revolver. MLW
