Hungarian M91-30 PU bolt action sniper rifle with Vietnam Capture papers. Made 1953 in Hungary, before finding its way to Vietnam. This rifle was captured by the consignor in 1969 and list his name, unit, the rifles serial number and the scope serial number. Chamber has typical Hungarian proofs. Stock has a circled "B" and "02" on the right side. No import mark. Matching serials on the barrel shank, bolt, trigger guard and butt plate. Standard post front sight and rear tangent adjustable to 2,000 meters. Original blued finish. Stock has a light oil finish. Includes attached 1943 made, factory #297 NKV (Yoshkar-Ola) scope. Scope sits in a Hungarian mount on a Hungarian base. Includes leather scope caps. CONDITON: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Layer of grease covers the internals. Stock is excellent, minus a 5" crack in the hand guard. Bore is filled with grease, and looks well preserved. Mechanically fine. Scope is excellent with a clear optic. Capture paper is ripped, and has been taped numerous times. A very scarce rifle for your collection! JWA
