Lot consists of: (A) FEG Frommer Stop semi automatic pistol. Made 1916. Austrian military proofs on the left heel of the frame. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. Commercial proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Blade front sight with v-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Serrated wood grips. Includes an original blued steel magazine "FROMMER 7.65MM" marked on the base plate. Includes consignor summary, and a copy of post-War importation paperwork that lists the gun by serial number. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood has dings and scratches. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has finish wear. (B) J.P. Sauer & Sohn Model 1913 semi automatic pistol. Made early 1920s. Standard markings on the top of the slide. "(Crown) / N" proof on the frame and rear of the cocking knob. Blade front sight with u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original checkered plastic grips, marked "S&S" on the top of each panel. Original blued steel magazine, marked "S&S 7.65" on the bottom of the left side. This gun is listed by name on the same importation document as Gun A, but the serial does not match. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with some brown patina forming on the slide. Strong fire blue on the safety and retaining spring. Grips have handling marks and scratches. Clean bore with very good rifling. Magazine has light finish wear.
