A vintage Mannlicher Schoenauer hunting rifle with 18" blued steel barrel. Barrel fit with a ramped filed front blade sight, mid barrel band and with 1 standing and 1 folding rear sight. Receiver reads "24597" for serial number and "MADE IN AUSTRIA", "Patent Mannlicher Schoenauer", M 1903". Bolt action slide with butter knife handle, flag safety, and double set triggers. Front set very light. Action body reads "OESTERR. WAFFENFABR.-GES.STEYR". Rifle fit with a HENSOLDT-WETZLAR DIALYTAN 4X scope. Blacked steel floor plate. Stock with straight grain, checkered pistol grip, pistol grip cap, cheekpiece, sling swivel and finished with steel serrated trap door plate. Checkered forend with sling swivel. Rifle comes with older leather sling. CONDITION: Fair. Barrel with dull black finish. Action is smooth and sound. Stock with handling marks and large repaired area around top of grip. Forend is good with bruise to checkering and some handling marks. CP
