Lot consist of: (A) Colt Woodsman semi automatic pistol with box. Made 1930. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left of the chamber. Standard markings on the left side of the slide, followed by a rampant Colt pony. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Pencil weight round barrel with adjustable front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original checkered wood grips. Includes two factory blued steel magazines, one being an early two tone finish, the other all blued. All this comes in a hand made wood case, with an original manual and period brass cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines are excellent. Case is very good with some wear and handling marks. (B) Colt Peacemaker single action revolver with box. Made 1974. Single line company address on the top of the barrel. "PEACEMAKER .22" on the left side of the barrel. Patent dates on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Case colored frame, with the balance of parts being blued. Factory checkered black plastic grips with eagle embellishments. Includes extra .22 Mag cylinder and kraft style box. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lock up. Very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box and extra cylinder are excellent. JWA
