Lot consist of: (A) Colt Huntsman semi automatic pistol. Made 1949. Standard company address on the left side of the barrel. Rampant Colt pony over "HUNTSMAN" on the left side of the chamber. Typical markings on the left side of the slide. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear sight. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Lacquered wood grips with checkering on both panels. Blued steel magazine marked "COLT CAL. 22 L R" on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips have a few handling marks, but are excellent overall. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. (B) Browning Challenger semi automatic pistol. Made 1968 in Belgium with standard markings on both sides of the chamber. Belgian proofs on the barrel, frame and slide. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components and gold plated trigger. Single piece checkered wood grip. Includes original blued steel magazine marked ".22 L.R. BROWNING" on the base plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with areas of wear and handling marks. There is a layer of dried grease covering most of the frame, slide and grip. Grip has light handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has finish wear. JWA
