Savage Model 99 lever action rifle chambered in .300 Savage. Blued round barrel with dovetailed brass beaded front sight and dovetailed folding rear diamond sight. Half barrel band holding a sling swivel attached to barrel. Top of receiver is drilled and tapped 6 times with appropriate screws. Checkered wooden Schnabel forend and wooden stock with plastic pistol grip, rear sling swivel, and metal butt plate. CONDITION: Good overall condition with receiver turning a silver patina and barrel appears to be reblued. Handling marks and scratches throughout the wood with chip on top of forend left side and chip on top of stock near tang left side. Storage marks and freckling throughout metal surfaces and metals but plate shows signs of pitting. Dark bore with good mechanics. GFP
