Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1898. 26" blued octagon barrel with Winchester two line address and caliber marking of 38-55 fitted with sheared blade front sight and Buckhorn notched adjustable sight with blued full magazine. Blued solid frame action with plain trigger. Winchester Standard straight plain buttstock with crescent steel buttplate. Matching walnut standard forarm with blued nosecap. CONDITION: 70% faded blue with corner wear and areas worn to a silvery patina due to handling. Action finish starting to turn brown patina with some surface scratches and some usage marks. 70% original varnish with balance in the protected areas. Dark pitted bore with good mechanics. DLM
