English combination gun "Drilling" made by "W. MOORE & Co." with Damascus composite steel barrels in 12 guage and .44-40. Top of rifle barrel appears to have a "W. T. DAVIS". Underneath the barrel are "S" and "F.G" proofs, as well as "13", and "crossed swords", etc. Serial number of "2643" is present on receiver and inside the forearm. Receiver has light engraving. Side lever opens breech, rifle has double exposed hammers, exposed rifle hammer on top, and dual dual triggers. Walnut stock and forearm have grip checkering. Metal butt plate. CONDITION: Overall fair, and retains less than 10% of its blued finish with brown patina and light freckling. Stock and forearm have been cleaned, sanded, with a heavy coat of lacquer applied. Bores are are dark and may clean up, and gun is mechanically sound. WEZ
