Winchester Model 12 slide action shotgun. Made 1936. Typical markings on the left side of the barrel. 2 line company address and patent dates on the right. Matching serials on the receiver and barrel assembly. Winchester proofs on the chamber and frame. Round steel barrel with solid rib and bead front sight. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stock and ribbed forearm. Added red rubber butt pad. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with general wear and some gray patina forming. Wood has a few handling marks, dents and scratches. Bore is clean overall. Mechanically fine. JWA
