Framed "The Knight At Dawn" by artist J. Crandall featuring Messerschmitt BF109 fighters attacking leaving their airfield in Vesprem, Hungary in October 1944. Hartmann led the 7th Staffel (II. Gruppe) of "Jagdgeschwader 52" (JG52), the most famous and successful fighter wing in history, which claimed more than 10,000 Soviet aircraft kills. Both Erich Hartmann and the artist signed the print. Erich Hartmann had 352 confirmed kills, of which 345 were Soviet aircraft. He flew 1,404 combat missions.
