Lot consist of: (A) Spanish Grande Precision "HELVECE" .25 caliber semi automatic pocket pistol with holster. Made 1932 as a copy of the Browning/FN 1908. Left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE D'ARMES DE GUERRE DE GRANDE PRECISION/HELVECE PATENT". Spanish proofs on the left side of the frame, and on the barrel. Both grip panels are marked "PATENT". No import/export mark found. Frame is notched for sighting. Looks to be an original blued finish on the metal components. Checkered plastic grips with gold medallions on the bottoms. Magazine has a nickel finish. Includes an un-marked leather holster. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its finish with light wear and handling marks. Large amount of preservative greaser in the action. Grips have a few handling marks and scratches. Bore is frosted, but retains very good overall rifling. Mechanically fine, but will need a complete disassembly and cleaning. Magazine is excellent. Holster is very good overall with light wear. (B) Spanish "Bufalo" semi automatic pistol. Made circa 1920's in Spain. Left side of the slide is marked "AUTOMATICA ESPANOLA PAT 62004Y67577/BUFALO 6.35(.25 Cal)". Right side of the slide is marked "MADE IN SPAIN". Spanish proofs on both the frame and slide. Slide has a v-notch cut out for sighting. Blued finish looks to be original. Oil finished smooth wood grips. Magazine is nickel plated and un-marked. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with most areas forming a brown patina. Grips have a few handling marks. Bore is heavily frosted with poor rifling. Mechanically fine, but the recoil spring is weak. Magazine has light wear. JWA
